At Grace Church, our Students & 20s group provides all our young men and women with social events, talks and trips away together. Our vision for Students & 20s is to build a loving community of Jesus followers where people have the freedom to be honest and vulnerable and to create a space where we can be challenged and grow together in our relationships with God.
Equally, we want to see those in Students & 20s become part of the wider church, if that’s just for the time you are at university or more long term. So whether you’re a committed Christian or just looking you are very welcome and there’s lots to get involved in.
Our regular Students & 20s meetings happen on alternate Sunday evenings from September to May. During these times we meet in a local home, get fed an amazing meal and listen to a talk which is then normally followed by discussion and prayer together. It has an informal feel where we can hang out together and seek God as a group.
This is the main hub of the Students & 20s community, and a great first step towards getting stuck in to the wider church. It gives you a chance to really get to know people and begin to work out what it means to be a Christian in your 20s at work or as a student at university.
We often organise other social events for Students & 20s at weekends or during the week and the best way to keep in the loop about these is to ‘Like’ our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/studentsand20satgracechurch
Commission Students through Thirties
As well as our own events we also join up with other 18-30’s from across the Commission group of churches for various events through the year. One recent event was the annual CST in February, details of which can be seen in the video below or this link www.facebook.com/cstevent.
On the basis of CST’s past, we’re really looking forward to CST 2019!
