The Alpha Course

AlphaWhat is the point of life? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible? What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today? Looking for answers? Then try Alpha!

What is Alpha?

The Alpha course provides a fun, relaxed but informative introduction to the Christian faith. Each evening begins with a meal, followed by a talk on an aspect of Christianity and then a discussion based on what has been said. Alpha is for people who have never investigated the Christian faith before and for those who used to believe and for Christians who want to go over the basics of their faith again. It is an opportunity to investigate, to ask questions and to meet new people.

What’s involved?

Every week at Alpha you will get to share a meal with people on your table, hear a talk on an interesting topic and get the chance to discuss it in an open and honest manner, where no question is too simple or too hostile. It’s a great place to build friendships, some of which last beyond the course. If you are coming with friends you can choose to sit together; just let us know.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for everyone, especially:

  • Those wanting to investigate Christianity
  • New Christians
  • Newcomers to the church
  • Those who want to brush up on the basics

What will it cost?

Alpha is completely free of charge and includes a free two-course meal every week.

Where can I attend Alpha?
