Grace Church is a group of men, women and families from different walks of life who are committed to biblical, evangelical Christianity with the powerful, experiential action of the Spirit today. The church has been established to reach out to both the city and the surrounding rural areas, towns and villages.
Our Sunday morning meetings have a contemporary feel with modern music and is open to participation from the church. We look to see Word and Spirit working together, by that we mean we come expectant of what God will say to us from his word, the Bible, and through the Holy Spirit.
Grace Church is a relatively new church; we started public meetings in Chichester in June 2006 with a small group of people. We have now grown and are currently gathering a group of about 350 to 400 people over three meetings on a Sunday each week. We are expecting to continue growing in size throughout this year and into the years ahead. To help accommodate this growth, in 2013 Grace Church became a multi-site church. This means that although we are one church, with one leadership and vision, we hold our Sunday meetings in more than one location or site. Currently we hold meetings in Chichester, in Bognor Regis, in Midhurst and in Havant.
Our Chichester meeting is at 11am and is held at Chichester High School in Kingsham Road, our Bognor Regis meeting is held at 10am at The John Parry Suite, University of Chichester (Bognor Campus) off the Upper Bognor Road by Hotham Park, our Midhurst meeting is held at 10am at Midhurst Rother College on North Street and our Havant meeting is held at 10am at Warblington School on Southleigh Road. These meetings are very similar in style and content and include groups for babies, children and teenagers up to school year 10.
